Walking Attitude

We simply don't know what's gotten into Julia.

Lately, when we go for our walkies, she gets all weird. She KNOWS that when we want to go on walkies, it's our job to tell her how to go about everything. We get the leashes, we bark loudly and run in circles, and we growl at Sammy to get him ready to go. It's what we do. We're Schnauzers, and we're in charge.

But Julia is in need of some serious re-training. Over the last week, she's just not cooperating with our routine. We don't get to leave until we sit and stay and wait and are quiet. Can you believe it.....and what's even worse, she keeps telling us we have to heel. Which means we can't go any further ahead of her than her heel. What's with that??

We're going to make her think we're going along with her strange little requests. For now.

  1. We guess sometimes we just have to let the humans think that we are going along so that we get what we want. You are being smart there!

  3. It really does sound like your going to have to get Julia into some intensive re-tranining!

  4. Hi Girls! Yeah - humans huh? They like to think they're in charge. Our advice? Humour them - it seems to work well in most cases and will give you the upper paw in most situations. They will then start to believe THEY are in control of YOU (they're such simple creatures!) and before you know it they'll relax and you can start calling the shots again. Trust us - works like a charm. Quick, quick - hide the laptop - the human is advancing......!
